We've been camping around Europe since the wedding. I use the word 'camping' very loosely as some would not consider amenities such as beauty rooms, gourmet bakeries and wifi to be very camp-ish.
It was after our first night that Michael coined the phrase 'the economy of slams'.
You see, we had returned late to our campsite and everyone in our 'intimate' campsite was asleep in their tents barely meters away.
Michael started setting up his bed (the front seat of the Peugot) including curtains made out of nearby items of clothing. This involved a few too many door slams which loudly echoed through the silent campsite... and then in and around the surrounding mountains and valleys waking neighbouring provinces from their slumber. No one was asleep once Michael curled up in his reclined front seat that night.

From that night on the Peugot was to be 'set up' and the doors kept open until the very last moment. Thus, the economy of slams was born.
We have been through northern Italy and around Austria, Bavaria, through Slovenia and now we're on the coast of Croatia! Highlights have included Salzburg (sound of music country), the Disney castle in Bavaria, Eagle's nest (Hitler's 50th birthday present), Munich and Michael's birthday lunch in Ljubljana.
